This week’s first Grounds For Divorce is once again about me wanting new golf clubs, but this time I have a new spin on how I can get them! So…

This week's first Grounds For Divorce is once again about me wanting new golf clubs, but this time I have a new spin on how I can get them!

So I have talked about this in the past but now I think I may have a full proof plan to get myself some new golf clubs...Make it my wife's idea!!

Here was the question:

"SO WE KNOW I WANT A SET OF NEW CLUBS, BUT MY ANGLE NOW IS HOW DO I MAKE IT HEIDI’S IDEA THAT I NEED NEW ONES?"

Now, I know this may seem like I am trying to trick my wife into getting new clubs, but I have found if I make things her idea, she gets on bored.

Now for the discussion we had on air about it.

Again, I am not trying to trick my wife, I just think this is an innocent way to get these clubs. Of course you all had some things to say.

LISTENER COMMENTS:

"Tell her you gonna sell the old ones to help offset the cost of the new ones"

"Lil Ryan. U buy those clubs and tell her to have a sandwich ready when you get home"

"As always, Ryan opens mouth inserts both feet...not one foot...both feet...when they make a DUMBASS poster, it'll be a picture of Ryan"

"Just go get them. You'll get in trouble or not. You may have to get her something. It may be more expensive than the clubs or not"

"Just remember Ryan it's 90% talent and only 10% equipment, so do you really need the clubs"

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Alright, like most of you know who follow along with GFD, I will most likely wait until my wife says it's okay for me to by new clubs. I may say some dumb stuff, but I think I am decently good and not getting myself in trouble!

Again, if you want to catch up on past GFD just head to the link below!

Grounds for Divorce
Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
