Alright, this week's grounds for divorce was a little bit different. It wasn't me asking a dumb question that would ultimately get me in trouble, it was me trying to figure out why my wife was on a certain side of something.

This Grounds for Divorce was Different. I brought it to the show and to you all so I could try and figure out where my wife was coming from with her thoughts.

Here was the question I asked:

I WON PASSES FOR GOLF ON MACKINAC ISLAND..WE CANT USE THEM AND I WANT TO SELL THEM..HEIDI SAID NO I HAVE TO GIVE THEM AWAY BECAUSE I DIDN'T PAY FOR THEM. DOES ANYONE SEE HEIDIS SIDE ON THIS..AM I MISSING SOMETHING.

First, here is the discussion we had on air

Now, as you can see, I don't need to even post any listener comments because they were all pretty much on my side. But for the sake of it, here are some thoughts from the text lines:

LISTENER COMMENTS:

Have a option for the tickets donate all the money to a charity of Ryan choice

Did you pay for the raffle tickets? If so, then you DID pay for them.

Make that money Ryan! Only fair you won them might as well make that cash money baby!!

Tell her that if you sell them you can buy her something

Hey if you give the tickets to someone will she let him get the new golf clubs!!!!

Sell them and donate the money to fundraiser where you got them.

So when it comes down to it, I think I will try and sell them. I think I will give it a couple of weeks and if I can't sell them I will just give them to a buddy or something.

Grounds for Divorce
Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
