Remember this moment when Detroit Lions Defensive stud Aidan Hutchinson kicked the ball into the stands at Ford Field after securing a safety that put the game away against the Bears?

So what happened to the football after Aidan kicked it into the stands? Who got it? Does he want it back? Check out this timeline:

  1. Ryan started wondering who caught the football...and within 20 minutes we heard from Cindy and Bruce who actually caught the ball! Absolutely wonderful Lions fan who wanted to give the ball to Aidan...but didn't know how (and they called out Mikey...the guy who sits next to them and left early Sunday).  So what happened next?
  2. We started getting text messages and a couple of calls from people who were willing to help us get Aidan Hutchinson in contact with Cindy & Bruce...but THEN we get a message on our Facebook page from Chris Hutchinson -- that would be Aidan's dad! We had a great conversation with Chris and Melissa (Aidan's mom) about the football and much more:

3. So later in the morning we got a text from Cindy & Bruce and they connected with the Hutchinson's and the football will be delivered to Aidan! Best listeners in #Detroit

What a fun chain of events to have this all come together in one morning. And so our Lions are 8-2 (best record since 1962) heading into a Thanksgiving game with Green Bay.
