The CSX Railroad! The roots of Novi’s railroad and the original Marquette Railroad station! The gang then heads to Diamond Jim Brady’s for another history lesson!

How do they get those cars up there? The gang is asking questions at Carvana. Plus, Novi is special… City of the Week checks in from the Novi Special Water Tower! How did it get its name?

  City of the Week in Novi! The gang finally found the old railroad station. The railroad came to Novi in the 1870’s. There used to be a West Novi (corner of Wixom and Grand Boulevard), but the railroad gave Novi and boost and West Novi faded away.

  The Novi Special Water Tower! And amazing story behind this... the water tower gives a salute to the Novi Special.. a particular type of race car that ran in Indianapolis during the 1940’s through 60’s. It was based off of a cutting edge V8 engine created by Ed and Bud Winfield in 1938.

  We loved the vibe of Diamond Jim Brady’s! The restaurant first opened in 1954 in Detroit but now it calls Novi home. Accent pieces from the original restaurant adorn the bistro.

  How do they get those cars in there? We had to ask... turns out, the middle section is open. Each level has a dedicated slot for raising and lowering the cars... going UP!
