What a couple of months it has been for the Detroit Lions. As someone who was only 1 when they were good, I am blown away to finally have a team that everyone is behind. It's not just Detroit, it's very person in the country that loves an underdog. It was clear in Tampa Bay yesterday that the Lions have built something special.
I got into work this morning and continued to do what I did all last night. Watch videos on X from Tampa where the Lions fans showed up and didn't want to leave. What a sight it is to see this team dominating on the field and in the stands.

This is one of the coolest videos I saw yesterday. An entire Lions fan take over of the Bucs stadium. It honestly looks like they were at Ford Field. But this is nothing new, for years Lions fans have been showing up at away games. This year is different because they are one of the best, if not the best team in the NFL.
SHADES OF 2016
I have said this one air, but this Lions team and season is exactly the same as the Chicago Cubs in 2016. Awful for a lot of years, things never going their way. Bad coaches, and GMs. Wrong decisions at every turn, until one year when everything finally came together. Just like the Cubs, and entire country is now rooting for the Lions to win it all. Times have finally chance in the Motor city and we couldn't be happier. Hopefully this season for the Lions ends just like 2016 did for the Cubs. Parade through downtown.
