Night Ranger Set To Headline SterlingFest 2024 In Sterling Heights
Night Ranger tops this year’s Sterling Heights, Michigan’s” Sterlingfest.” According to an announcement from the city’s March 19 council meeting, the80s arena rockers are ready for a catalog of music. Look for Night Ranger on Saturday, July 27, at Sterling Heights’s Dodge Park.
What Is Sterlingfest?
Sterlingfest Art and Music Fair is a yearly summer festival in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This year is July 25-27th at the beautiful remodeled Dodge Park, which has historically drawn crowds of 120,000-125,000 people over three days.
The Band Night Ranger
Night Ranger is a rock band from the San Francisco area that was formed in 1979. The band grew in popularity during the 1980s with a series of albums and singles and the help of MTV music video exposure. Guitarist Brad Gillis, drummer Kelly Keagy, and bassist Jack Blades performed on all but one of their albums. The band’s first five albums sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and 17 million albums total. Best known for the songs “Sister Christian,” along with other top 40 hit singles in the 1980s, including “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”, “When You Close Your Eyes,” and “Sentimental Street.”

Night Ranger Celebrated Their 40th Anniversary With A Live Album
The album was recorded during a Night Ranger performance with Cleveland’s Contemporary Youth Orchestra at the Key Bank State Theatre in Cleveland, OH, on November 9, 2022. The Contemporary Youth Orchestra (CYO) comprises 80+ musicians aged 12 to 18, representing more than 40 schools in Ohio. The students performed alongside Night Ranger throughout their entire set. This made for a genuinely great Night Ranger concert event.
